Spectrem 2 - Technical Data Sheet DESCRIPTION Spectrem 2 is a high-performance, single-component, moisture-cure, medium-modulus urethane sealant designed for a wide range of applications with excellent adhesion and durability. USAGE/PURPOSE Spectrem 2 is ideal for demanding weatherproofing applications, especially those involving dissimilar substrates. STANDARDS & CERTIFICATIONS ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 50, Use NT, M, G, A and O TT-S-00230C (Type II, Class A) CAN/CGSB-19.13-M87 EIMA 300.01 APPLICATION GUIDELINES Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of contaminants. Use Tremco Primer if required for porous surfaces. Apply with standard caulking equipment. Tool the sealant within 20 minutes of application. Use Tremco backer rod or bond breaker tape for proper joint design. JOINT DESIGN Minimum joint dimensions: 6mm x 6mm Joints up to 13mm wide: Depth = Width Joints 13-25mm: Depth ~ 1/2 Width Joints >25mm: Consult Tremco CLEAN UP Uncured sealant can be cleaned with mineral spirits.
